Kevin Corrigan, Longtime Notre Dame Men's Lacrosse Coach, to Step Down
Notre Dame Fighting Irish Men's Lacrosse Head Coach Kevin Corrigan, who has led the program for 36 seasons, has announced his retirement.
Corrigan, 64, is a national champion American lacrosse coach who has served as the head coach for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish men's lacrosse team since 1989. He is also a Senior Associate Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist for the team.
Under Corrigan's leadership, the Fighting Irish have won 11 national championships, including the 2014 NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Championship. He has been named the National Coach of the Year five times and has been inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
Corrigan's retirement is effective at the end of the 2023 season.
