Leaked toy images hint at a major Marvel villain making their debut in the upcoming "Captain America: Brave New World" film.
Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) have gotten their first glimpse of a potential new villain thanks to a leaked toy that has surfaced online. The toy, which is part of a Happy Meal promotion for the upcoming "Captain America: Brave New World" film, depicts Captain America battling against a large, red creature with glowing eyes and sharp claws.
Speculation is rife that the creature is the Red Hulk, a villainous alter ego of General Thaddeus Ross (played by Harrison Ford in the MCU). In the comics, Ross is transformed into the Red Hulk after being exposed to gamma radiation. The character has been a frequent antagonist of the Hulk and other Marvel heroes.
The leak of the toy has sent shockwaves through the MCU fandom, with many fans speculating that the Red Hulk will be the main antagonist of "Captain America: Brave New World." Marvel Studios has not yet officially confirmed the Red Hulk's appearance in the film, but the toy leak is certainly a strong indication that the character will be making his MCU debut.
Directed by Anthony Mackie, "Captain America: Brave New World" is scheduled for release on July 12, 2024. In addition to Mackie, the film also stars Harrison Ford, Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, and Shira Haas.
